Keep close to Nature’s heart… and break clear away, once in a while, and climb a mountain or spend a week in the woods. Wash your spirit clean. - John Muir
My photography is a passionate diversion and at times an escape. Whether I am shooting around the corner or around the world, it really is about being in the moment. My tendency is to shoot the grand landscape but I embrace other photographic genres when the opportunity presents itself. Be it on a mountain in Abruzzi at daybreak or looking across the Grand Canyon as a storm brews, I am most content when the light becomes ethereal and the landscape comes alive. Standing there taking it all in is what it is all about to me. I hope these photographs portray some of that feeling.
