"Shoot The Light" photography seminar with Charles Glatzer
October 15, 2016 – 9:30AM to 4PM
Gannon University
Zurn Hall, Room 107 (W 7th Street)
Seminar Description
Shoot the Light Instructional Photographic Workshops and Technical Series are comprehensive, designed to enhance your visionary skills, as well as your technical execution. Special emphasis is placed on creating images with Visual and Emotional Impact; using creative techniques, compositional elements and light to design in-camera images that are a cut above.
My success as a commercial photographer has been characterized by my ability to see and understand light. Wildlife photography is the same without exception. Light quantity, quality and direction should be assessed independently, although together they render the image. The amount of illumination determines the exposure, while the quality and direction of the light source relative to my position renders the scene and subject as viewed.
Being aware of the lighting direction relative to the subject will allow you to choose a camera position that will enhance your unique vision, as well as the subject. “Light Illuminates, Shadow Defines”.
Every Instructional Photographic Seminar has but one goal; offering the participant the most education for the dollar. Planned by a professional photographer for photographers, each is unique, dedicated to bringing you only the finest in photographic instruction. Our workshop schedule with new and exciting venues are sure to please even the most discerning wildlife and nature photographer.
