Jack Anon
Who are you? Hi! I’m Jack Anon. I am a physician and amateur photographer living in Erie, PA. My loves in life are my family, the patients I care for and try to help, and Mother nature.
What do I shoot? Although I once actually told a secret service agent that I needed to be positioned in an area with my 500mm lets to “get a good shot” of then President Bush, I mainly focus my shooting on nature and wildlife. This includes everything from the open sky to the smallest detail of a flower. I am lucky to travel around the world with my family, all of whom are photographers.
My Character: I view my soul as having a large color palette filled with excitement. This has been especially easy for me, as I have not grown-up yet. If anyone tells me to act my age I tell them I do … 6 years old to be exact. As a photographer, I try to infuse each of my images with this same enthusiasm.
Who is my photographic hero? I am an Ansel Adams groupie(even though he is not alive anymore). He also never grew up. Just sayin’.
My Goals in Life: Already hit the goal line and just keep running!
